Dear reader,
The story that you are about to read is based on barelybreathing.avi.
It was about 12 hours ago that I discovered "BarelyBreathing.avi". My name is to be unknown by the public but the only reason I found out about this file is because my mother is a paranormal investigator who investigates Creepypastas. One day I decided to ask her about the pasta.
We were driving home when I ask her about Barely Breathing...
"Hey Mom, I have a question. She looked at me.
"What is BarelyBreathing.avi?"
I asked her that question and she froze dead in her tracks, slamming her foot on the brakes. "
Where did you find out about that!?!" she yelled.
"I don't know." I said. She sighed.
"If you must know... It's a series of very graphic videos of disturbing things that mind-screw you. The videos are of people being tortured by a demonic thing us investigators call the Gringex..."
She let out a deep breath.
"Promise me that you will never download that file and or view it! Legend says that those who view it become the Gringex's next victim. So just drop the subject here, please."
I just nodded while forming a devious plan in my mind.
Later when I got home I waited till everyone was asleep and slipped onto my mother's laptop and hacked into her account. I opened up Firefox and began my search. It was 4 hours later and I was about to give up but then I found the download link. After downloading it a clicked on a link and it lead me to a live stream on a man that was blind folded.
Then a large creature came into view. He took a knife and began to cut away at the man's face. He started with the ears, slowly peeling them away to make it painful. Then the nose. You could hear the bone split in two. He cut his mouth and eyelids Jeff the Killer style and last he took his long fingers and pulled the man's eyes out. I felt sick. That poor man... The worst part was that he was still alive. He took the knife that he had previously and cut into this guys stomach pulling out his entrails. I was horrified and crying. I couldn't take this anymore.
I grabbed the laptop and smashed it several time before it shut off. I crawled under my covers and cried myself to sleep.
Then next day I was paralyzed in shock. I prayed that the legend wasn't true. My mother's laptop was unfix-able and so she grounded me for a year... Then the next couple years were hard but I finally moved on and am now living a very happy life. I just hope that I don't pay the price for watching that video after all, one of us could be next...
