I'm just a normal guy. I love looking up Creepy Pastas though, and I'm mostly into the video game Creepy Pastas. I always wished I could write my own, and I've been looking for inspiration for what to write. (I apologize for the file extension on the title, but that was what I actually found.)

I almost think someone was watching me enjoy the Creepy Pastas. Anyway, a couple days ago I was looking up images for Creepy Pastas. I found a funny little image, it was a little kid looking like he was animated on a Nintendo 64, upon clicking the link on Google, would bring up a bigger "Image Blocked"

So like I would, I continued to the website to see if the picture would come up there. I got to the website and looked at the picture, when I found it, it had the same grey backdrop for "Image Blocked" but instead said "Createapasta" all one word.

I noticed that when I hovered my mouse over the new picture, my cursor turned into the pointing glove (indicating it was a link) so I clicked the link and Google Chrome started downloading "Createapasta Game", which I could tell from the small icon that it was a folder.

The game was relatively small, about 56 megabytes. I thought back to how the original picture related Nintendo 64 graphics and also how the file size is close to that of a Nintendo 64 rom. I was slightly excited, but I had no real intention to play the game, as it was a surprise that I was even downloading a game.

When the download was finished, I opened it to reveal the .exe file "Createapasta.exe". I thought it maybe this would be my chance at writing a Creepy pasta. Starting to get a fanatical feeling, I quickly ran the file hoping to find blood and gore galore.

The game started up and I was pumped. The game logo was really simple, and just said in a simple, all lower case font, "this was not for you". I wondered if it knew me, but waved this off as it might have said this to all players. It came to a small green plain of land with a small boy, the same from the picture on Google images I found. He was simple in design, he looked just like the kid from animal crossing, I contemplated whether he might have been stolen from the game itself. He just walked around the plain and occasionally looked toward the screen, as if looking at me.

I wondered if there was any controls to play the game. I messed around and pressed nearly every button on my keyboard. Nothing happened besides the fact that every time I pressed a key, he would tilt his head awkwardly towards me. I decided to use my mouse, out of options. When I clicked the kid, he sort of stumbled, like I poked him.

I discovered that when you held the mouse down on him, you could pick him up. I played with him, and he even made happy expressions, like he enjoyed being in the air. I accidentally threw him over the green plain after a while, and he fell off. After about 5 seconds, he fell back into the middle of the little green plain. He looked at me, making a little sad face. I made a sad face back, being kind of expressive.

He suddenly realized that I cared, and went back to wandering around, the weird part was my webcamera lit up blue, like it does whenever I turn it on and record, and it shortly went off after I made the sad expression. I was angry when I noticed this, because I had assumed this game was just a well made virus. So I threw the small kid around and repeatedly flung him off the plain, and each time he fell back onto the little green plain, his expression was changing very creepily, and his eyes and mouth would turn black.

After about the 20th throw, I couldn't grab him anymore, and he turned slowly towards the screen, his expression a plain smile. He took out a knife, it was shiny but no blood, as I would have expected. I noticed my webcamera turn on again, and it soon shut off, while the kid stared at me. He took out what was a small pixelated image of me, and I was a bit shocked, but my emotions didn't cry out to me, as I knew the picture had just been taken by my own hardware.

He proceeded to take the little image of me and do weird unsettling things with it, like put it in his mouth and chew on it, and take it out with my face being blackened in the eyes and mouth, which was very unsettling for me. I took my hands off my keyboard and mouse, and just decided to watch.

I decided to try and screen capture the little monster, to no avail, as I had forgotten which key took a picture. I decided to just go ahead and press each f_ key that there was, so that I would get at least one picture. Each time I hit one of the f_ keys the little kid would scream at me. After I hit each key a little speech bubble came up above the kid saying "I give up, I just can't get you to cry".

The program closed, and my wallpaper had changed to a pitch black backdrop. I looked for the picture I took of him, and instead I just found a picture of the exorcist, which to me was pretty lame. I wondered how he would know if I had cried, perhaps a microphone or my already accessed webcamera? Either way I thought that this was a pretty cool game that was just generally unnerving as hell.

I decided I wanted to prank my friends with it, unfortunately the file was gone, it had deleted itself. So I thought maybe I could go to the website and the source file. When I typed the same words into Google Images "Creepy Pasta" the image didn't come back up, instead I got all images of BEN, the eligy statue from Zelda: Majora's Mask.

It was true, he really was free.
