Author's note: Please note that I wanted to combine multiple pastas together to make a great story, and it turned out great!

Samantha was home alone, her mother on vacation. She was watching TV when a news report came on saying that a crazed killer is terrorizing people. They gave a picture on the screen. She looked out the window, and saw a man with the perfect match to the man on TV. Sam picked up the phone and was about to dial 911 when she noticed there were no footprints in the snow. She finally realized that the man was a reflection, and he was smiling.

Sam dropped the phone and turn around. The man almost took a lunge at Sam with a kitchen knife, when suddenly her dog bit his ankle. He screamed, and fell over. Hitting his head on the table, He died instantly. Police, medics, and news reporters came to interview Sam, investigate, and take the body away. She said nothing to the news reporters, too afraid to speak when she realizes that the dead man has his eyes open, and they were looking at her.

At school, children crowded around Samantha, asking her all these questions. "Did he cut you?" one said. "Were you scared?" said another. She didn't speak with any of the kids except her friend Todd. They were in 7th grade, and had been friends since 4th grade. They talked about how she was afraid he might come back, but never told anyone about the eyes. The day of the incident, she was watching the gurney being pushed. The dead eyes seemed to follow her. Samantha went out at recess and sat on the swings. The chains were all rusted and looked like they would break any moment, but she didn't care. She just looked along the field behind the school.

The large open area filled with Sunflowers and green grass that flowed along in the breeze. She felt at peace when she noticed a dark figure standing all the way at the other side. It was staring at her. Sam looked away in disbelief, and when she looked back, the figure was gone. She got up, and turned around. The ghost was right behind her, staring at her. She ran toward the school with the demon following her. The school seemed darker than usual and as she ran, it slowly changed into what seemed to be a castle. She couldn't see where she was going, until she ran into something. She looked up, and it was her teacher, Mrs. Fosternton. Mrs. Fosternton's face was the last thing she saw before she passed out.

Waking up in an unknown area is one of the scariest feelings. Samantha couldn't tell where she was for what seemed like hours. Finally, her mom walked in. "you're in the hospital" she said. The room was all white. It seemed like Sam was in a big white bubble, until his eyes finally adjusted. The room had some pills to take in case of headache. She fell back to sleep for no apparent reason. When she woke up a few hours later, it was around 10:00PM and she felt perfectly fine. Getting out of the bed, she walked to the nurse's desk to ask if she could leave. She asked "I feel fine. Can I leave, now?" but the nurse didn't reply. She just sat there, doing her work. Sam rang the bell on the counter, and the nurse jumped what seemed like ten feet high.

The nurse said "Hello?" and Samantha replied with a simple "Hi", which made the nurse pass out. She didn't want to disturb anyone, so she walked out of the hospital and down the street. Not knowing where her house was, she went left, onto the freeway and walked. There was a funeral going on in the cemetery, about a mile down the road and she only caught a small glimpse of someone she thought she knew. But Sam knew better than to barge into something like that so she kept on walking. She suddenly saw the tall man, standing next to the people at the cemetery, but they gave him no notice.
