Super Mario 64 - Malware

Hello, I'm Jane Rosefelid. I am a 24 year old woman who came across... something. I have the copy of the game mentioned in the title, I'll tell my experience with this game.

When I started playing the game, it looked more or less normal for the most part, like it was a completely normal copy. Until I went into the final bossfight with bowser, he'd looked the same, Mario looked the same, the level still looked the same. After defeating him, the star didn't appear. I was puzzled, so I cleaned the cartridge and put it back in. It immediately went back to the arena. Except Mario was gone, pure silence... until it crashes and made a high pitched sound. My TV essentially internally melted, and for some reason a red cap with a "M" on it inside. It wasn't burnt, and appeared to be in good condition. Then I heard Mario sound effects in my bedroom... then I heard:

"Are you a' happy? Jane?"

I immediately looked back to see who it was... he looked exactly like him. I ran out of the room as fast as humanly possible, trying to find the nearest weapon to kill that... thing. I'll afraid for my life, that thing was chasing me, managing the noclip through the damn walls and doors. I then exited my house and hid in the backyard. I heard that thing calling for me, how the fuck did it know my name? Why did it LOOK like Mario? Why is it coming for Me? Then I saw him heading to the backyard, I ran as fast I could to my neighbor frontyard and hid in his house. My neighbor is a sweet old man and has a old fashioned pistol, and I told him to give me it because of that thing coming for me. He asked why and I told him everything about how I got the game, got the cap, and getting chased by it. He didn't believe it but believed it was a Robber. He walked out of his house and saw the thing, he shot it and somehow killed it. Finally I was free from it's wrath, I went back to my house and cleaned up everything and decided to throw away the cartridge.
