The Other Zelda
A few days ago I woke up and went to make some eggs for breakfast. I noticed I was out of eggs, so I decided to walk to the grocery store because it is only about four blocks from my flat. I was almost there when I noticed something in a bush. I went to investigate and as I got closer, I saw it was a SNES cart. I picked it up and read the label, and it was A Link to the Past. This was my favorite Zelda game, but my mom had sold my SNES and all the games. I took it home and went on Amazon to buy a SNES. About a week later, it arrived, and I set it up and put the cart in. Everything was normal until I left the house and found Link's uncle. He was bleeding and the floor around him was bloody as well. This freaked me out, and I guessed it was a hacked cart. I read a lot of creepypastas, so I knew that this was probably a bad idea, but I played on. Everything was normal after that... Until I got to the shop in Kakariko Village. I stole and item, and went back in the shop. Instead of the insta-kill bolt, the shop keeper ran up to Link and stabbed him, and some blood was visible. I got freaked out, and instead of starting at Link's house, I spawned in the middle of some trees. Since I was stuck, I restarted the game. Even though I hadn't saved in the whole session, I still had all my rupees and gear. I left Link's house and went towards Kakariko Village again, and this time Link was attacked by all of the villagers, who were throwing rocks and sticks. I got away on one heart, and headed back to Hyrule Castle to get some easy hearts. Once I got there, I couldn't move and the guards swarmed me, and the screen went dark. I spawned in the boss lair of the first dungeon, and I was in the cell Zelda was in in the beginning. I left and was able to play normally again. I got to Aganhim and repeatedly got killed, and every time I died there was some blood and the game over screen didn't appear right away, and you would see Aganhim pick Link up and rip his head off. Finally, I beat him and fought Ganon. Ganon looked a lot scarier. He had red eyes, longer horns, and blood on his trident. I died a few times to him, and before the game over screen, Ganon would walk over to Link and eat him. This really freaked me out, and I finally beat him. I got to the Triforce room, but when the Triforces came out, they were red, not gold. Princess Zelda appeared under the creepy red triforce, only she had red eyes with black pupils, and had what appeared to be claws. She said that she resurrected Ganon, not Aganhim. She then attacked Link, and since it was a cutscene, I couldn't move, she kept attacking, and she was making a really scary scream. As she was attacking, blood and entrails or body parts were flying off of Link and landing in other places in the room. I shut of the SNES and threw the game away. I know that it was a hack, but it still haunts me to this day.
