The VMNV 2/19/2006 Hijacking

On February 19, 2006, Movie Channel VMNV was hijacked during an airing of the 1974 movie Horror Express.

Near the end of the movie, the two men in the signal box get a message from Moscow.

“Moscow said to stop the express when it goes through the switching point,” says the signalman.

“Wait, that means killing everybody on board!”

Says the other man in shock.

This is where everything goes wrong.

"That's what it said; maybe there’s a war.”

As he says, “Maybe it’s war." The word “war” looped repeatedly for 4 seconds before cutting to black, then what’s seems to be a lullaby starts to play, with an image of a shotgun on top of the void, then text that seems to be a cryptic poem starts to show up on screen.

It cuts back to where the movie left off; however, one last thing shocked not only the viewers but also the people monitoring the broadcast.

Right as the train is about to fall off the cliff, the man controlling the train screams as normal; however, it loops, and what it shows gives younger viewers nightmares.

It was a very crudely drawn man, with what seems to be dried up blood stains on its clothes, and within the two oval-shaped eyes lie eyes that would scare even the most brave souls.

then it cuts to a screen saying:

“Oops! It looks like we have a problem! We will resume airing shortly.”

To this day, nobody knows who hijacked VMNV on 2/19/2006, as it was impossible to trace back who made it at the time. It was theorized that a cult-like group made the message and hijacked the station to invite viewers to join, or this was some type of joke, but to this day, nobody knows who hijacked Movie Channel VMNV on 2/19/2006, later being known as: “The Monster Of The Express Hijacking”.
